The “Tangier Appeal” was launched by twenty African personalities following a Round Table discussion entitled “The African Union in the light of the Moroccan Sahara Question”, during the 14th edition of the MEDays Forum held from the 2nd to 5th of November, 2022 in Tangier.
The signatories, coming from more than twenty African countries, all former Prime Ministers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs, launched a solemn appeal for the expulsion of the pseudo-“sadr” from the African Union, in order to correct the historical anomaly, the legal aberration and the political misunderstanding that is its illegal and illegitimate admission, then its unjustified continuation within the continental organization and its negative operational impact.
